KYOTO PREMIUM at ''Maison & Objet 2008'' Exhibition in Paris
KYOTO, Japan-(Business Wire)-January 23, 2008 - KYOTO PREMIUM (Project Committee Chairman: Tadatsugu Yoshida, sponsored by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry) will showcase a total of 24 home decoration items which highlight a new lifestyle concept that combines the highest quality crafting techniques, exquisite beauty and modern design of Kyoto at Maison & Objet 2008, Europe's premiere international lifestyle trade fair that introduces the newest trends to the world, from January 25-29. Their booth will be located in the high-end area called "Interior Scenes," Hall 5B, Stand C14.
This season, KYOTO PREMIUM has adopted the theme "Essence of Life: Luxury Moments in Everyday Life," and created contemporary items used unique fabric made from bamboo, kimono textile (Kyo-yuzen, Nishijin-ori and Chirimen) arts and crafts, Japanese Umbrella Table Lamp, etc., that are inspired by traditional techniques, figures and patterns, yet elicit an appreciation for worldwide interior design trends.
