Vennetics Announces the Launch of its Ground Breaking J-Box Product Solution
DUBLIN, Ireland-(Business Wire)-February 17, 2009 - Vennetics an innovator in PC client solutions today announced the launch of its ground breaking J-Box product. J-Box is targeted at mobile operators and it enables them to differentiate their mobile broadband proposition by offering subscribers compelling features that drive customer value.
Mobile Broadband products based on HSPA technology have been hugely successful for mobile operators. According to a recent Juniper Research Report (Mobile Broadband Markets 2007-2012) global mobile subscribers are forecast to reach 1.2Bn by 2010 and of these one in three subscribers will have a mobile broadband connection, accounting for revenues of €400Bn by 2012.

The J-Box product is comprised of two parts the J-Box Feature Server and J-Box Launch Pad. The J-Box Feature Server is a carrier grade application platform that is deployed in the mobile operators network against either an IMS core or other SIP based infrastructure. The system controls voice, media and messaging traffic as well as providing comprehensive support for real time billing, location and presence features. The J-Box product also comes with an operator branded PC client call the Launch Pad. The J-Box Launch Pad provides an intuitive user interface offering a range of advanced and engaging telephony and media services. It’s fun to use and extremely user friendly driving both customer adoption and usage of the service.
