Jon Walker Rejoins Prison Health Services as Senior Vice President of Business Development

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.-(Business Wire)-February 12, 2009 - Prison Health Services (PHS) President and Chief Executive Officer, Rich Hallworth, has announced that Jon Walker will be re-joining the company as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Walker will head up the company’s business development, government relations, public relations and marketing efforts. He will report directly to Hallworth. Walker will take over duties from Larry Pomeroy who is now PHS’ President of State Corrections.

Walker, a graduate of Murray State University with a B.S. degree in marketing, previously worked for PHS as Vice President of Business Development from 2004 until 2007, where he directed new client efforts, as well as worked with existing clients and PHS operations management to effectively implement and operate PHS’ contracts and meet client needs.

Walker left the company in late 2007 to become Vice President of State Systems for Aramark. Walker has more than 13 years of experience in the corrections industry having also served as Vice President of Marketing for TransCor America, LLC from 1996 through 2003.
