SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.-(Business Wire)-February 12, 2009 - The newly redesigned No. 88 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet debuts in the 2009 Nationwide Series season opener on Saturday, Feb. 14 at Daytona International Raceway.

Brad Keselowski, winner of NASCAR’s 2008 Nationwide Series’ Most Popular Driver Award, will take to the track in the No. 88 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet at the Camping World 300. Adding to the excitement of the car’s debut, Keselowski is slated to be the ESPN In-Race Reporter on Saturday. He’ll provide a driver’s view and commentary from behind the wheel.

This is Keselowski’s second year driving for GoDaddy.com, the world’s dominant Web hosting domain registrar. Keselowski’s performance last season turned out to be exactly what Go Daddy expected from the 25-year-old, who is mentored by one of NASCAR’s greats: Go Daddy spokesman Dale Earnhardt, Jr. In ’08, Keselowski finished third in points in the Nationwide Series, posting two wins, 11 top-five finishes and 20 top-ten finishes.

“I’m just so excited to be back on the track and am very lucky to have GoDaddy.com on board for both series in 2009,” said Keselowski. “We're going to make a run for the championship in the Nationwide Series and have some strong runs in the Sprint Cup car. We wouldn't be able to do it without the support GoDaddy.com is providing and I personally appreciate their confidence in me as a driver.”

This has been a tough year for NASCAR drivers in terms of sponsorships. The economy has forced many longtime corporate sponsors to pull out. Go Daddy, however, experienced unprecedented corporate success in 2008 and, in turn, expanded its sponsorship of Dale Earnhardt, Jr., JR Motorsports, HMS Motorsports and Keselowski.

“NASCAR and GoDaddy.com are a great fit,” said Go Daddy CEO and Founder Bob Parsons. “NASCAR fans are loyal just like Go Daddy customers; NASCAR drivers have a winning spirit like our employees; and most of all, our team gets a real charge out of being associated with all of these great people and this sport.”

Parsons, the driving force behind this year’s incredibly successful Go Daddy Super Bowl advertising campaign, actually helped design the No. 88 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets as well.

GoDaddy.com sponsors JR Motorsports in 20 Nationwide Series races this year. Earnhardt will race the No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets in the series - cars which Dale Jr. designed.

Go Daddy will also sponsor Keselowski in seven Sprint Cup Series races in the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolets.

Go Daddy’s foray into racing sponsorships started with the company’s support of IndyCar’s Danica Patrick in 2006. That sponsorship continues this year as well. Patrick, a Go Daddy Girl and IndyCar’s most popular driver, starred in Go Daddy’s 2009 Super Bowl ad campaign.

The Camping World 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series airs live Saturday on ESPN2 at 1 p.m. E.T. Viewers of ESPN2’s coverage will get the chance to see Go Daddy’s newest commercial campaign, featuring Dale Jr., Brad and Go Daddy Girl Candice Michelle on Saturday as well.
