SEATTLE-(Business Wire)-February 11, 2009 - Law firm Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the formation of a Law & Government practice team that will focus on representing clients before governmental entities and regulatory agencies.
The newly-formed Law & Government team is comprised of attorneys with decades of experience in taxation, utilities, telecommunications, transportation, solid waste, licensing, insurance, health care, public housing, Indian law and gaming, energy, land use and environmental matters. The Law & Government practice team’s capabilities include monitoring and drafting legislation, regulations and rules; preparing clients to testify before local, state and federal legislative and administrative bodies; advocating in administrative law proceedings before state agencies; advocating for taxpayers at administrative and appellate levels; representing land use stakeholders; assisting in environmental compliance; appearing before federal agencies; and providing business and real estate counsel regarding issues affected by government regulation.
