Industrial Fire, Safety & Security Career Fair Opens This Week; Wide Range of Jobs Available in Emergency Response Field

HOUSTON-(Business Wire)-February 3, 2009 - Industrial Fire, Safety & Security (IFSS), the nation’s leading industrial emergency event, announced today that Harris County Human Resources & Risk Management, Hazard Control Technologies, Houston Fire Department, Houston Police Department, Houston Police Department - Civilian Employment Unit, Refinery Terminal Fire Company and the U.S. Coast Guard will be exhibiting at its IFSS Career Fair to be held February 4 – 6, 2009 at the Reliant Center in Houston, TX.

IFSS Career Fair attendees will be able to talk one-on-one with employers and learn about diverse jobs in the industrial emergency response field. Anyone coming to the career fair can also attend at no-charge the IFSS General Session, Every Disaster is Different – Lessons Learned from Hurricane Ike, and the exhibits from more than 300 leading industry suppliers showcasing the latest emergency response solutions for the energy and industrial marketplaces.

The IFSS Career Fair, will run concurrently with IFSS, Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, February 5, 2009, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; and Friday, February 6, 2009, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The General Session will run Thursday, February 5, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
