PremierGarage Selects Don Shultz as New CEO
PHOENIX-(Business Wire)-January 28, 2009 - PremierGarage, the nation’s largest garage remodeling and enhancement franchisor, has named industry veteran Don Shultz as the company’s new chief executive officer. Shultz follows company founder Mark Loberg, who will remain involved on the board of directors and with advising on new product introductions.
Spanning nearly 30 years, Shultz’s career has touched virtually every functional aspect of the wood industry, from the bench to the boardroom; from vendors, to consumers and distribution partners. For the past four years, Don has been the principal of J.E. Moran Associates, a specialized business consulting practice that focuses on helping companies overcome competitive, operational, organizational, and leadership challenges.

Shultz brings to PremierGarage significant experience in product design, manufacturing, information management, engineering automation, distribution and organizational design and development. As an Editorial Consultant for Wood Digest Magazine, Shultz writes frequently on issues affecting the building industry. Shultz currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board at the Madison Area Technical College and is a past member of the Advisory Board at the Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
