Tekserve to Open a Mac Museum in Honor of the 25th Anniversary of the Mac
NEW YORK-(Business Wire)-January 26, 2009 - Extended by popular demand through Sunday, February 1st, Tekserve, New York's premier Apple Specialist, is presenting "Live Long and Prosper" a museum retrospective of Macintosh and many things Macintosh to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Mac.
This petting zoo of Macs includes: the original Mac 128 signed by Steve Wozniak, the Lisa, pre-Mac Apples, the Outbound-an Australian laptop knock-off, the Mac Portable, the Newton, the Next, the Cube, Powerbooks throughout history, the eMate, the 20th Anniversary Mac, the first iPod from our infamous Domino commercial, and so much more. Tekserve's founders adopted the Mac at its inauguration and for twenty one years they have operated Tekserve which is now the largest independent Apple shop in the country. Stop by and try your hand at the mouse of the first Mac.
This free event is open to the public.
