Venture Tape Corp. Names New Leader for VentureShield® Product Line

ROCKLAND, Mass.-(Business Wire)-January 23, 2009 - Venture Tape Corp., a worldwide leader in the manufacture of specialty tapes, has named Dan McPhail head of its VentureShield® Product group.

McPhail, who has been a product manager for the line for the past several years, will now be the chief liaison for the highly successful product.

VentureShield, a clear thermoplastic urethane film providing superior protection on paint surfaces, is Venture Tape’s leading paint protection film. It can be applied to the hoods, fenders and other vulnerable areas of automobiles, RVs, motorcycles, boats and trucks. Made from 100 percent aliphatic resin, VentureShield is known for its abrasion resistance and ability to resist yellowing.

VentureShield executives recently announced a partnership with Graphtec, the world’s largest supplier of plotters. Together, they created a package featuring VentureShield paint protection film, Graphtec Plotting Systems and “Invisible Patterns I.P. Pro–Web Edition” software with patters for virtually every model car and motorcycle available on the global market. I.P. Pro-Web Edition enables customers to generate point of sale marketing materials such as brochures and catalogs, as well as customized estimates and invoices. Graphtec offers the only 64” plotter currently available. The package is ideal for cutting paint protection film, window tint film and graphics.
