MWH Announces Two New Additions To Executive Management Team
BROOMFIELD, Colo.-(Business Wire)-January 6, 2009 - MWH, a global provider of environmental engineering, construction and strategic consulting services, announced today that David Barnes and Richard Parry have joined the MWH Executive Management Team.
David Barnes will assume responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer for MWH. He brings more than 25 years' experience in finance and strategic development in a wide spectrum of well known and respected companies. Mr. Barnes joins MWH from Western Union Company, where he served as Executive Vice President of Finance and oversaw the company’s strategy and Business Development activities. David served as Chief Financial Officer for both the Radio Shack and Coors Brewing U.S. operations as well as for the China operations of YUM Brands (Pizza Hut and KFC). David was responsible for finance and corporate development to support the global expansion of the YUM Brands businesses.
Richard Parry will assume duties as Chief Risk and Legal Officer for MWH. Mr. Parry served as legal counsel in the engineering and construction industry for much of his career. He comes to MWH from Jacobs Engineering Group, where he led the legal team for their North American sector. Previously, Richard served as General Counsel to Washington Group International and continued in that role for the Washington Division after it was acquired by URS. Richard joined the predecessor company, Morrison Knudsen, in 1993, working with ethics and compliance issues, project legal review and contracting, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate risk management.
