DeLorme and Rand McNally Form Exclusive Distribution Agreement
SKOKIE, Ill. & YARMOUTH, Maine-(Business Wire)-December 19, 2008 - Rand McNally, America’s largest and most trusted map publisher, and DeLorme, a leading innovator in mapping and GPS technology, today jointly announced a major distribution partnership in which Rand McNally becomes the exclusive North American distributor for DeLorme’s print-based product line.
Rand McNally’s distribution network will increase the retail presence of the DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer™ series, America’s best-selling maps for outdoor recreation, and strengthens Rand McNally’s position as the nation’s largest distributor of printed maps. Rand McNally products are distributed in more than 50,000 retail outlets across North America.

The agreement covers DeLorme street atlases and folded maps for Maine and New England, in addition to the 50-state Atlas & Gazetteer™ series of topographic map books.
All products will continue to carry the DeLorme logo, and will be published from the company’s Yarmouth, Maine headquarters. Individual consumers may continue to purchase them from the DeLorme Map Store (located at company headquarters); direct from DeLorme via phone or online; and from Rand McNally’s website http://store.randmcnally.com. All resellers (wholesale or retail) will purchase from Rand McNally.
The agreement applies to the DeLorme printed series. DeLorme digital map and GPS product lines will continue to be distributed directly by DeLorme.
