ACTE leads by providing education to its membership from both the regional Executive Forums and PowerTalks which are then are developed further as topics for the national and global conferences. Under Crum’s leadership, ACTE achieved greater prominence in government affairs (both in the U.S. and in Europe), extended its scope to 82 countries, and received some of its strongest recognition in the travel trade, national, and international media.

“My role with ACTE has been exciting, educational and motivating. As ACTE President, I had the opportunity to represent my peers to industry media and government, to initiate legislation that protects all business travelers, and to be a part of a dynamic team which has greatly influenced how companies do business,” stated Richard Crum, ACTE President. “I am most proud of our CSR initiatives and will continue to support these within the industry.” For Crum’s blog entry on his ACTE presidency on The Beat website, please click HERE.
