UTS Establishes Residual Processing Division
EATON RAPIDS, Mich.-(Business Wire)-September 29, 2009 - UTS (www.uts-biogas.com) announced this week, the establishment of UTS-Residual Processing, LLC, formed through a partnership between Bernard B. Sheff and UTS BioEnergy LLC, the American subsidiary of UTS Biogastechnik GmbH.

Bernard B. Sheff, PE, is an expert in the fields of industrial and agricultural wastewater treatment, solid - liquid separation and water resources engineering. He is recognized worldwide for his innovations in the field of agricultural waste management and anaerobic digestion. Prior to this new partnership, Mr. Sheff was the head of Residual Processing and Energy LLC and Sheff and Sons Engineering, PLLC, both of Eaton Rapids, MI. The new company, UTS Residual Processing, LLC will have exclusive use of the technologies and customer skill developed in Bernard Sheff's two other companies.

UTS-Residual Processing, LLC will specialize in process and product development for residual management, with a focus primarily in the US and Canada. In addition to system and process engineering for biogas plants, the company’s individual product offerings will include separators, pumps, mixers and flotation systems for agricultural, industrial and municipal waste liquids. The company will be headquartered in Eaton Rapids, MI. The current employees of Residual Processing and Energy LLC and Sheff and Sons Engineering, PLLC will transfer to the new company along with part of the American staff of UTS BioEnergy LLC, who are fully trained in the German company's technologies.
