Grizzard Names Eric Overman Vice President of Digital Marketing

ATLANTA-(Business Wire)-September 29, 2009 - Grizzard Communications Group, an industry leader in integrated, direct response marketing and fundraising, today announced that Eric Overman will join the agency as Vice President of Digital Marketing. Eric will spearhead Grizzard’s efforts to deliver digital marketing solutions to nonprofits that address client business challenges and donor needs. Overman comes to Grizzard from Operation Smile, and his background includes extensive experience in interactive marketing, social media, search engine optimization, web design, direct response marketing and strategic planning.

Overman served as Online Marketing Director for more than three years at Operation Smile, where he launched the first interactive department, drove online integration with direct response efforts and initiated the creation of online communities to strengthen engagement among volunteers and donors. During his tenure, Operation Smile won the Non-Profit of the Year Award from the Direct Marketing Association for excellence in direct marketing creativity and marketing strategy. In 2009, Overman won the American Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Marketer of the Year Award.

Overman received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, and holds a Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary, Mason School of Business.
