NRI Global Summit 2009 To Attract Over 250 Indian Business Leaders
MILPITAS, Calif.-(Business Wire)-September 29, 2009 - Industry leaders from across the globe and some of Silicon Valley’s top entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academics are coming together for the NRI Global Summit 2009 on Saturday, October 24 in California, the summit organizers announced on Tuesday.
Presented by the NRI Institute, a globally recognized New Delhi-based NGO that connects the global nonresident Indian (NRI) community and award winning service provider Nair & Co., the summit is themed India-U.S.: Upturn in a Downturn, and highlights the significant economic, political and commercial trends affecting the India-U.S. ties.
The event runs from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Indian Community Center in Milpitas, California and includes an evening awards ceremony for recognizing eminent Indian leaders and an impressive entertainment lineup with performances by America’s Got Talent stars Ishaara and dance pioneer Giju.
NEA-IndoUS Ventures’ Vinod Dham, famed as the “Father of the Pentium” microprocessor, is the opening keynote speaker, while Subrah Iyer, founder and CEO of WebEx, will deliver the keynote fire side chat.
B.V. Jagadeesh, CEO of 3leafSystems is also joining the summit as a speaker in the panel titled “Technology: The New Verticals” where Silicon Valley visionaries debate up-coming technology trends and predict the new arenas of innovation.
