Scottrade Adds to Branch Network in Delaware
NEWARK, Del.-(Business Wire)-September 29, 2009 - Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is opening a new office Monday, Oct. 12 in Newark, Del. The new office, at 1257 Churchman’s Road in The Center Pointe Plaza II Shopping Center, will be managed by Richard Thompson.
“The new office will provide the growing number of investors in the Newark area with a friendly resource to learn more about investing online,” Thompson said. “Customers can visit the office to personally learn from our associates how to effectively use our tools and services to help them make better investing decisions.” Thompson, who most recently served as branch manager at Scottrade’s Wilmington office, is a Delaware native with nearly 15 years of financial services experience.

Though Scottrade does not provide advice, brokers are available at branch offices to answer account-related questions, provide customer service and give tutorials on Scottrade’s online trading services.
