Traditions of America at Silver Spring ‘Sweeps Gold’
MECHANICSBURG, Pa.-(Business Wire)-September 29, 2009 - Being recognized as among the best in the industry is familiar territory for the builder of one local community. As the leader in 55+ Lifestyle Communities, Traditions of America is accustomed to receiving recognition for its work, and has been lauded dozens of times locally and nationally. Nothing, however, could have prepared company representatives for their outstanding performance in the region’s annual showcase for new homes.
As a participant in this weekend’s Parade of Homes, Traditions of America at Silver Spring has received a dozen Gold Awards spanning six categories. The event, sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg, recognized two of Silver Spring’s models for excellence in kitchen, master suite, interior, and exterior design, as well as decorating and landscaping.
While Traditions of America chose to enter only two models in the competition, company representatives were amazed to learn they won every possible award for each entry. “Based on our outstanding performance last year, we wouldn’t have been shocked to win a category or two,” reports Traditions of America’s Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing, Sue Camara. “But to learn that we swept gold for each model we entered was amazing,” she adds.
Models entered included the ‘Revere’ and ‘Lincoln’ models. Camara points out that homebuyers interested in making one of these models their new home aren’t limited to the Harrisburg area, though. “One or both of these models is among the dozen-plus model choices available at each of our five resort-styled Lifestyle communities throughout Pennsylvania.” For those who do choose the Harrisburg region, Silver Spring has exciting news on the horizon. Phase one of the community’s massive 17,000 square foot clubhouse will open in November, offering the biggest and best amenity center in the area.
In addition to award-winning models and a lifestyle loaded with amenities, all Traditions of America’s buyers can take advantage of the company’s HomeFree program, which reduces the stress often associated with purchasing a home when you have another to sell. By telling buyers “If you don’t sell your home, you don’t have to purchase ours,” HomeFree has helped dozens of buyers begin their Traditions of America experience in the most carefree way.
