WESTLAKE, Ohio-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - TravelCenters of America LLC announced today its Petro Stopping Centers brand was named “favorite truck stop” by Atlas Van Lines drivers in the company’s sixth annual “King of the Road” survey. A total of 340 drivers responded to the survey that asked questions about their preferences in a variety of areas. Within the survey, 44 percent of these drivers named Petro Stopping Centers as their favorite truck stop.

Petro locations are consistently “voted best” by drivers on the interstate. In 2007 and 2008, an independent survey of professional drivers by Overdrive Magazine indicated Petro was voted best in numerous categories such as "best employees," "best truck maintenance facilities" and "best restaurant food," along with many other categories meaningful to its customers.

The Atlas survey is yet another independent validation of Petro Stopping Centers’ status as the preferred brand for professional drivers. For complete survey results, visit www.atlasworldgroup.com/survey.
