World Mission Maranatha Announces That Pastor Jose Luis Soto is Expanding His National and International Ministry
BELLFLOWER, Calif.-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - Since 1985 Pastor José Luis Soto has been expanding his national and international ministry through World Mission Maranatha Evangelistic Center and the International Council U.C.C.D. (Una Cita Con Dios). His slogan, “If you can dream it and you can believe it, you can achieve it, in the Name of Jesus Christ,” has been validated by his life and ministry.
World Mission Maranatha is a Christian church ministering to the Hispanic Community in the greater Los Angeles area from its central office in Bellflower, California. Maranatha, and its sister corporation, the International Council Una Cita Con Dios (An Appointment with God), work together to develop social projects, with a focus on reaching out to underprivileged families. Thanks to the financial support of the thriving congregation of World Mission Maranatha, as well as the U.C.C.D. Child Sponsorship Program, the missionary work of Una Cita Con Dios is daily impacting the lives of thousands of needy children in Latin America. More than 1,000 children receive two meals daily, clothing, medical attention and both an academic and spiritual education, at the Una Cita Con Dios School, in Vista Al Xolotlán, Managua, Nicaragua. Since 2003, the government of the Republic of El Salvador has authorized U.C.C.D. to provide spiritual and humanitarian aid to 10 maximum-security prisons, housing more than 6,000 inmates. Una Cita Con Dios also sends Bibles and ministers to inmates across the United States, and has provided tons of food and clothing to countries facing natural disasters.
