Greenberg Traurig’s Gus Corbella Named Among ‘Top 100 Influencers’ by Politics Magazine
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - Agustin G. “Gus” Corbella, director of the Governmental Affairs Practice of the Tallahassee office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. was listed by Campaign and Elections’ Politics Magazine among its list of 100 “Influencers in Florida.” He was featured among the publication’s “Influencers in Florida: The Top 50 Democrats and Top 50 Republicans.”
According to the publication, “The Influencers” is a new feature designed to help readers navigate state-level politics and is a catalog of what it calls “the 100 most important opinion brokers in each state.”

Corbella moved to Greenberg Traurig in 2004 with a solid background in state government, having served as chief of staff to the Florida Senate President, as well as staff director for the majority offices of both the Florida Senate and House of Representatives. His role as chief advisor to the legislature's most prominent leaders has provided Corbella with a broad knowledge of the process and issues before the Florida Legislature. Corbella serves as a commissioner for the First District Court of Appeal of Florida Judicial Nominating Commission, having been appointed by Governor Crist in 2008. He also served as a senior advisor for Senator John McCain's Campaign for President.
Corbella serves on a number of community boards, including Florida State University’s Seven Days of Opening Nights Festival and The Governors Club.
