Emergent to Provide ‘Knowledge Connectors’ Through Siemens PLM Partnership
DETROIT-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - Emergent Systems, the market leader in Engineering Knowledge Management, today announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services. Emergent Systems joins the Siemens Solution Partner Program as a Software and Technology Partner to provide clients within the Siemens PLM Software user community with the best in class solution for Enterprise Engineering Knowledge Management.
Under the terms of the agreement Emergent Systems will market its ‘Connector’ applications which enable the flow of technical know-how from Emergent’s Engineering Knowledge Management solution into NX™ software and Teamcenter® software, Siemens PLM Software’s flagship applications for digital product development and digital lifecycle management respectively. The result is a line of ‘Knowledge Enabled’ engineering tools available to customers starting in the third quarter of 2009.
