Salespeople and Administrative Professionals Look to Leverage Social Media
BALTIMORE-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - Associations are leading the way in educating their members about social media in an effort to remain on the cutting-edge during cost-cutting times.
Two associations have turned to digital marketing firm Sinuate Media CEO, Leah Messina, to educate their members on leveraging social media for their industry. Ms. Messina will speak to the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) - Greater Baltimore Chapter on October 6, 2009 in Hunt Valley, MD and the National Sales Network (NSN) - DC/Baltimore Chapter on January 14, 2010, also at a Maryland location.
The IAAP is a global non-profit organization with 40,000 members and 600 chapters worldwide. Ms. Messina will speak to the Greater Baltimore Chapter about social media tools that save time and money, how to use social media to do research, and best practices for online communications for professionals.
The National Sales Network is an association of 10,000 African-American sales professionals in 16 chapters across the United States. Ms. Messina will educate the DC/Baltimore Chapter on the most popular social networking sites for sales professionals such as Twitter, Facebook, and Slideshare; how to monitor online conversation for sales leads; and how to balance professional and personal use of social networking sites.
