FORTUNE Top 50 Company Renews Relationship Management Contract with Convergys
CINCINNATI-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announced today a FORTUNE Top 50 telecommunications company has renewed its longstanding contract for Convergys’ Smart BSS solutions portfolio.
Convergys estimates the value of this three-year contract extension to be approximately $72 million.
Convergys will continue to provide data processing, application support, and development for billing applications, which are highly customized and processed in one of Convergys’ state-of-the-art data centers, for this client under a managed services agreement.
For this leading communications company, the ability to have efficient management of its billing systems, while simultaneously controlling cost, maintaining consistency, and ensuring business continuity, prompted the continuation of its relationship with Convergys for another three-year term.
