eGlobalTech to Assist GSA in Defining and Implementing the Federal Cloud
ARLINGTON, Va.-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - eGlobalTech, an award-winning consulting company providing strategic advisory and Information Technology (IT) services to the Federal Government, announces that the Firm has been awarded a contract to assist the Federal Government in developing a strategy and implementation approach for cloud computing. eGlobalTech is working with the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Federal Chief Information Officer, Vivek Kundra, to support this effort.
According to Sonya Jain, President of eGlobalTech, “We are proud to support the new administration’s infrastructure modernization and cloud computing. Our firm will assist GSA in defining the overall technical roadmap and strategy for cloud computing and facilitating collaboration across agencies to achieve the strategic vision.

eGlobalTech will perform a broad range of activities for the Federal Cloud Computing Initiative:
- Develop the Federal Cloud Computing Enterprise Architecture and Technical Roadmap;
- Assist with defining requirements and business rules for the Federal Cloud Computing Storefront (APPS.gov);
- Establish and facilitate the Cloud Computing Governance structure;
- Assist in the development of Cloud Computing Security Policies;
- Conduct market research and analysis of relevant technologies and vendor solutions;
- Support and facilitate key communication strategies;
- Support acquisition initiatives by defining technical requirements; and
- Assist agencies with creating Cloud Computing deployment and transition plans.
