The International Myeloma Foundation Postpones Washington Meeting on Health Reform
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.-(Business Wire)-September 28, 2009 - The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) today said the health reform seminar scheduled to take place this week has been postponed. The Foresight Seminar organized by the Institute for Alternative Futures had been scheduled for noon on September 29th.
The seminar has been postponed because one of the key panelists had an emergency that required him to cancel his participation. In addition, the health reform debate in Washington is in greater flux than had been anticipated when the seminar was scheduled. With these developments, the IMF thought it would be prudent to reschedule the seminar for a more optimal time. An announcement will be forthcoming about future plans.
