Research and Markets: E-Learning Course: Associate Professional Risk Manager Certification
DUBLIN-(Business Wire)-September 25, 2009 - Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/93ea47/elearning_course) has announced the addition of the "E-Learning Course: Associate Professional Risk Manager Certification" training to their offering.
The Associate Professional Risk Manager is a new PRMIA certificate program intended for risk management support staff and professionals working in related fields such as auditing, accounting, legal and systems development who want to understand fundamental risk management methods and practices. Designed to be mathematically and theoretically less detailed than the Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification, the new program will cover the essential concepts allowing non-specialists to interpret risk management information and reports, make critical assessments and evaluate the implications and the limitations of such results. Easy to obtain study materials and widely available exam options will provide candidates with optimum flexibility to fit the preparation and testing process into their individual work schedules.
This program is certified by The Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA).
The Difference Between the PRM Designation and the Associate PRM
Certificate:
The PRM Designation is achieved by passing a series of four exams to be successfully completed within a two year time frame. This is PRMIA's most academically advanced program and designed to cater for all the needs of a Chief Risk Officer. Successful candidates are entitled to use the PRM title.
KESDEE, with its expertise in developing online tutorials for certification exams, has developed Associate ePRM Coach, a comprehensive self-study guide for the Associate Professional Risk Manager Certification Exam.
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates are required to pass one exam to be awarded an Associate PRM Certificate. The only pre-requisite is membership in PRMIA, which is free.
Format
The Associate PRM Exam is computer-based and the questions are all multiple choice. The exam consists of 90 questions which are randomly drawn, according to the syllabus order and weightings, from a larger exam database. A exam score of 60% or greater is required.
Recognition of Associate PRM Exam Certificate
Individuals who have successfully passed the Associate PRM Certificate Exam are exempt from taking Exam IV of the PRM Designation.
