Ulmer & Berne Continues Strategic Expansion in Chicago – Adds Two More Attorneys
CHICAGO-(Business Wire)-September 24, 2009 - Ulmer & Berne LLP announced today the addition of Randall D. Lehner as a partner and James G. Martignon as an associate to its Chicago office. Both litigators, Mr. Lehner and Mr. Martignon represent the second time in a month that the Firm has added attorneys to its Chicago office.
Mr. Lehner, formerly a partner with Reed Smith in Chicago, focuses his practice on securities litigation, regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings and complex commercial litigation. He also has experience defending securities fraud class actions brought by shareholders. Mr. Lehner has defended numerous complex commercial litigation matters including trademark disputes, breach of contract, director and officer liability, and trade secrets and non-solicitation disputes. He received his J.D., with high honors, from Duke University School of Law and his B.A., with high distinction and honors, from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Martignon, previously with Levenfeld Pearlstein in Chicago, focuses his practice on securities litigation, regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings, corporate and shareholder disputes, bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Martignon received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his B.S.F.S. from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service where he majored in international affairs and economics.
