Dongbu HiTek to Host Analog Semiconductor Leaders’ Forum During Upcoming i-SEDEX Trade Show in Korea
SEOUL, South Korea-(Business Wire)-September 24, 2009 - Dongbu HiTek today confirmed that it will once again host the “Analog Semiconductor Leaders’ Forum” – which will be held at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) on October 16, 2009 (Friday) from 9:30 AM to 5:50 PM. Organized in conjunction with the i-SEDEX trade show for semiconductor and display industries, which opens its four-day show on October 13th, the upcoming Forum will include timely presentations on the latest analog chip design/process technologies, yield-maximizing techniques and market growth strategies.
“We have an impressive lineup of analog chip authorities who will speak at our Forum next month,” said Jae Song, VP of Analog Foundry Marketing for Dongbu HiTek. “Analog expert Lou Hutter, who now heads our Analog Foundry Business Unit, will be joined by several analog chip industry leaders including those from Texas Instruments, Sanken Electric, Micrel, SEMCO, Cadence and PDF Solutions, to name a few. Forum attendees can expect to learn about the latest analog technology and marketing trends, especially those related to power management.”
Dr. Song confirmed that this year’s keynote address will be given by Jackson Hu, President and CEO of Neo Emerging Power and former UMC chairman and CEO, who will offer insights into the analog industry trends in Taiwan and China, and that Silicon Mitus CEO Huh Yeom will add his perspective on analog market trends in Korea. He also noted that Gabriel Rincon-Mora, a professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will discuss analog design technology trends in power management.
The attached schedule presents additional Forum details on the analog topics to be addressed and the companies presenting them. While the admission to the Forum is free, seating is limited. Accordingly, those wishing to attend are urged to pre-register early online at www.isedex.org.
