Internet Acquisition Strategist Lori Swett Joins Macromark Inc.

BREWSTER, N.Y.-(Business Wire)-September 24, 2009 - Macromark, Inc. announced today that online acquisition veteran and strategist Lori Swett has joined the firm’s Interactive Services unit.

Lori brings more than 12 years of online marketing experience to her new role. Before joining Macromark, Lori was Senior Manager of Online Media at Scholastic Inc. where she managed the web acquisition of new customers for the Disney, Nickelodeon and Random House brands and children’s book clubs. While at Scholastic, Lori helped develop the Internet into the company’s largest and most profitable source of new leads. In addition, she negotiated all media deals with key affiliate networks and marketing partners.

Prior to Star Struck, Lori spent five years at Outpost.com, one of the earliest successful online-only retailers, managing a number of innovative marketing programs including their very successful Affiliate network and assisting with the development of offline print, radio, and television campaigns including the Cliff Freeman 1998 Grand Clio award winning “Outpost.com gerbils” commercial.
