17th Annual BioPartnering Europe™ and BioPartnering China™ Presents Innovative and Informative Program, Addressing Latest Trends Affecting the Biotech Industry Today
LONDON-(Business Wire)-September 24, 2009 - Technology Vision Group (TVG) is pleased to announce details of the program for the 17th Annual BioPartnering Europe (BPE) and BioPartnering China (BPC) conference in London from 11-14 October 2009, providing four days of networking in one location. BPE’s continued popularity is due to the innovative and informative program which annually addresses the latest trends affecting the biotech industry today. This year, the conference is not only offering an exciting and interesting range of leadership sessions, workshops and presentations at BPE but also the chance for delegates to further their knowledge of the exciting Chinese market at an extra one-day event, BPC.
Highlights of this year’s program include five BioPartnering Leadership Sessions, where senior executives and industry leaders will address cutting-edge themes of interest to the life science community in a number of panel discussions. Four industry workshops by leading service providers will also offer one-hour workshops on unique topics in an interactive environment. Over 100 presenting companies will showcase their products and partnering goals, and nine leading pharmaceutical companies will give featured presentations.
BioPartnering Leadership Sessions Address Cutting-Edge Themes
This year’s conference offers some highly topical leadership sessions featuring leading industry figures as speakers. One session, entitled Partnering in the New Economy: The importance of leveraging unpartnered assets, is chaired by BioCentury’s Mike Ward and looks to help delegates maximize their Company’s IP value. Mike is assisted by some of Big Pharma’s key decision makers as panel speakers.
Another session, entitled Planning for Economic Resurgence, is chaired by William J. Kridel, Managing Director of Ferghana Partners Group. During the session a panel of experts from both the biotech and pharma industries will discuss how to plan for the expected resurgence of the capital markets and corporate transactional activity.
Sponsor Workshops - Leading Providers Offer Expert Insight on Unique Topics
BPE’s industry workshops have proven very popular as industry leaders are able to address unique and complex issues in great detail to interested delegates. One workshop, entitled Partnership Perils – and How to Avoid Them, is being headed by partnering experts Cooley Godward Kronish and will identify the current issues in partnering agreements and practical ways to maximize deal value whilst minimizing risk.
BioPartnering China Offers Key Insights into the Exciting Chinese Market
BPC is the second in a series of three conferences, building up to the launch of an annual BioPartnering conference in China that focuses on European companies and institutions seeking expansion into China, as well as Chinese companies seeking to enter the European market.
