Creating the Best Company Ever in the Current Economic Environment – the EBBF European Baha’i Business Forum Annual Conference Kicks-off Today
NIJMEGEN, The Netherlands-(Business Wire)-September 24, 2009 - EBBF (www.ebbf.org) the European Bahá’í Business Forum, an international NGO representing businesspeople across 70 countries and dedicated to inspiring responsible business practices is kicking off its annual conference today bringing together thought leaders with diverse backgrounds from distant corners of the globe.
Each year the EBBF Annual Conference is dedicated to examining the issues that confront people who work – from the business leader to the local entrepreneur –as they go about earning a living. Over 200 participants have registered for the sold-out event addressing opportunities which stem from the current economic crisis. Workshops, presentations, panel discussions, consultations and break out groups are all part of the rich, diverse and action-packed programme.
A marine biologist, champion of the environment and a former deputy director at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Arthur Dahl opens the event asking: What are the implications of the vision of “enhancing the wellbeing and prosperity of humankind?
Mieko Bond, a barrister and criminologist will be co-conducting a consultation on the Advancement of Women and making the most of a gender balanced workplace.
Ruediger Fox says “Just do it!” Currently CEO of a multimillion Euro aerospace engineering company, Mr. Fox inspires leaders to follow their own personal values to transform their organizations into successful yet meaningful places to work.
Augusto Lopez Claros (www.augustolopez-claros.net) a leading global economist poses the question: Is the financial crisis a harbinger of emerging global governance?.
