BrightLine iTV Wins IAB MIXX Award

NEW YORK-(Business Wire)-September 23, 2009 - BrightLine iTV Marketing Specialists, the leading innovator of interactive television advertising, announced today that it has been awarded a Silver honor in the Interactive Video Category at the fifth annual MIXX Awards held yesterday by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). BrightLine was recognized for their work with Vaseline Clinical on the “Prescribe the Nation” campaign.

In its work for Vaseline Clinical, BrightLine iTV designed an environment that would broaden the reach and distribution of branded video content and provide viewers appealing ways to deepen their engagement with the product, drive trial, and ultimately lift purchase intent – all through the television remote control.

The award winning TV experience featured Alaskan residents using Vaseline Clinical and sharing it with friends and family, reinforcing the product’s key benefits. Multiple promotional points and interactive features were leveraged to maximize visits to the interactive destination, each selected based on extensive research and insight on viewers’ remote control behavior.

The IAB MIXX Awards is the only advertising awards that honor innovation and impact and is selected by a prestigious panel of senior executives from brands, agencies and media companies. The MIXX Interactive Video Award recognizes a campaign delivering an exceptional user experience through the use of streaming video-based advertising, either appearing in a player environment via a PC or in television environment via set top box. This category includes campaigns driving marketing objectives through the use of video on demand and/or interactive television, which capitalizes on the user’s ability to alter and control their experience and then feeds that information back to a marketer.
