Enhanced Triple-Play Bundle with Business Cable TV now Available to Time Warner Cable Agents
HERNDON, Va.-(Business Wire)-September 23, 2009 - Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC), the B2B arm of Time Warner Cable, has broadened the portfolio of services available to its sales agents with the addition of Cable TV.
Designed to appeal to key vertical markets with a need for around-the-clock access to news and entertainment, Business Cable TV joins TWCBC’s suite of Internet and Phone offerings to give agents the ability to sell the “triple play” bundle to their small- to medium-sized (SMB) customers. With its roots in residential cable television, and a long-time legacy of providing business cable to the service industry, TWCBC is leveraging years of expertise in TV with this new agent service.
“The addition of Business Cable TV gives our Agents another high-quality service offering for their customers,” said Kurt Fennell, VP of Product Management for Time Warner Cable Business Class. “By bundling it with our award-winning Internet and Phone products, agents can provide their customers with one of the best values in business telecommunications – all on a single bill.”
Business Cable TV – available now in all Time Warner Cable markets throughout the U.S. – is offered in two service tiers: a standard Cable TV service package, featuring over 77 channels; and a digital video service package, featuring hundreds of additional news, entertainment and sports channels. Both packages are available in a High Definition (HD) rich offering. HD service requires a set-top box and an HDTV.
One of the first sales agents in the TWCBC Partner Program to offer Business Cable TV is Intelisys, a Master Agency based in Petaluma, CA. It specializes in providing a broad suite of telecom value-based solutions to top-producing agents.
“The beauty of TWC’s Cable TV offering is that it allows our Sales Partners to sell another viable communications product to their customers. This is a real value-add for our partners because it provides another opportunity to fill the needs of the customer,” said Jay Bradley, President of Telecom Services at Intelisys. “And they have the added benefit of working with just one provider – all on one monthly bill.”
In addition to hospitality-based applications, Business Cable TV is vital for a wide variety of organizations, including waiting rooms, private offices, lobby areas, auto dealerships, medical offices, fitness centers, and employee lounges.
