TriStar Plastics Announces ITAR Registration & Approval
SHREWSBURY, Mass.-(Business Wire)-September 23, 2009 - TriStar Plastics, a leader in engineered plastics solutions, today announced successful International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration and approval from the US Department of State, Bureau of Political-Military Affairs and Office of the Defense Trade Controls Compliance (DDTC).
ITAR operates under the authority established by the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and regulates the manufacture, export, import and transfer of defense articles and services. This ITAR registration will allow TriStar to extend its engineered plastics suite to military-related product and applications for the homeland security, aerospace and military markets.
