Greenberg Traurig Attorney Jaret Davis Named to Miami Children’s Hospital Board
MIAMI-(Business Wire)-September 23, 2009 - Jaret L. Davis, a shareholder with international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., has been named to the Board of Directors of Miami Children's Hospital. Davis is the co-hiring shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group.
The hospital’s Board of Directors is composed of a diverse and representative group of community leaders who donate their time and talent to assist the hospital in carrying out its mission to provide advanced care to children and families.

He was recently recognized among the “100 Most Accomplished Blacks in Law” by ICABA Media Holdings, LLC, and was selected as a Florida Super Lawyers magazine 2009 “Rising Star.” Davis currently is a finalist in the 2009 South Florida Business Journal Key Partners competition in the Corporate Finance/M&A category.
Davis graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and received his bachelors degree from the University of Miami, where he graduated cum laude in Economics with secondary disciplines in Finance and Computer Information Systems. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association, and the University of Miami Law Alumni Association, where he holds the office of Treasurer.
