BioPharm America™ 2009 in San Francisco Sets New Benchmark for Partnering Productivity in the US
CARLSBAD, Calif. & SAN FRANCISCO-(Business Wire)-September 23, 2009 - Over 700 leaders from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry gathered last week for the 2nd annual BioPharm America™ partnering conference, which saw delegates from 665 companies engage in 1579 one-to-one partnering meetings. BioPharm America in only its second year has become the event in North America for getting partnerships started in the biotechnology industry. The event featured 14 panel discussions and 59 presentations by biotech companies seeking financing, licensing opportunities or partners for advancing their product development.
