Social Media Expert and New York Times Best-Selling Author Chris Brogan to Conduct Free Video Streaming Webinar
NASHVILLE, Tenn.-(Business Wire)-September 22, 2009 - Chris Brogan, co-author of the New York Times best-seller, Trust Agents, will be in Nashville on Thursday, Sept. 24, to interact with a studio audience on how to tap into the growing power of social media networks to build their brand’s influence and profits. During the second part of the seminar, Brogan will also discuss his new book with an international audience via a video streaming webcast.
Nashville-based marketing communications firm JTMarCom is sponsoring the Brogan seminar (from 8 a.m. to 12 noon CST on Sept. 24), and the webinar is being conducted by StagePost. Advance tickets for the studio audience are $40, which includes a copy of Brogan’s new book Trust Agents, and can be purchased at http://christbroganinnashville-eivtefrnd.eventbrite.com/ by Wednesday, Sept. 23. To register for the free video streaming webcast, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon CST, click here — http://www.authorsway.com/.
Brogan is president of New Marketing Labs, a new media marketing agency, and home of the Inbound Marketing Summit conferences and Inbound Marketing Bootcamp educational events.
In his new book, co-authored with Julien Smith, Brogan says that “social networks and personal connections have far more influence on consumers than your marketing messages ever will – unless your business knows how to harness them. In Trust Agents, we show you how to tap into the power of these networks.”
Brogan explains that “trust agents aren’t necessarily marketers or salespeople; they’re digitally savvy people who use the Web to humanize businesses using transparency, honesty, and genuine relationships.”
