SoBran Signs a Multi-Year Contract with University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

FAIRFAX, Va.-(Business Wire)-September 22, 2009 - SoBran, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing biomedical research support organizations, has signed a multi-year contract to provide managerial and supervisory personnel for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. SoBran will support the day-to-day operation of the Animal Resources Center (ARC) and provide oversight of UT Southwestern ARC employees.

Quarantining and conducting health surveillance of animals.

Providing facilities and trained personnel for conducting technical procedures such as surgery, post surgical care, radiography, necropsy, collection of tissues and body fluids.
Partnering with Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) to assure compliance with federal regulations, funding agency policies, and state and local regulations regarding the care and use of animals.
Assisting faculty and students in planning and conducting research and teaching programs that require animals.
