Sensory Analytics Expands European Outreach and Support through New Sales and Technical Service Agreement
GREENSBORO, N.C. & LUMMEN, Belgium-(Business Wire)-September 22, 2009 - Sensory Analytics, an emerging leader in non-contact coating and film thickness measurement systems, today announced an expansion of technical sales and support capabilities for its SpecMetrix® coating thickness systems into Europe through an agreement with AeroTecs NV of Lummen, Belgium.
Under terms of the new agreement announced today, AeroTecs becomes the first European partner approved by Sensory for technical sales, support and certified repair of its complete line of SpecMetrix® coating and film thickness measurement systems. SpecMetrix® systems provide manufacturers of coated metals, containers, coils, sheet stock and films with a faster and more reliable means to measure coating thickness, thereby enhancing product quality and reducing their unit costs.
The cost-saving line of SpecMetrix® coating thickness measurement systems are available as manual and semi-automated lab units for QA and R&D use, as well as in-line coating measurement systems for the real-time measurement of wet or dry coatings during the manufacturing process.
SpecMetrix® systems can accurately and reliably measure thin films and coatings over base materials of any color for food, aerosol, beverage, tinplate and specialty container applications, in addition to coatings on medical devices and aerospace products. All SpecMetrix® systems deliver real-time coating thickness measurement results with nanometric precision and with no harm to the coating itself.
