NMA Entertainment & Marketing Appoints Mark Owens President
LOS ANGELES-(Business Wire)-September 22, 2009 - Norm Marshall, Founder and Chairman of NMA Entertainment & Marketing, announced today that Mark Owens has been appointed as company President and partner, effective September 1, 2009. Working from NMA's Los Angeles headquarters, Owens’ role as President will be to oversee and streamline the entirety of NMA’s growing global entertainment operations in New York, Boston, Beijing, Tokyo, London and Sydney.
For the past year, Owens has been in partnership with NMA, heading the Vanguard Entertainment Division of the company, which focuses on representing content producers and entertainment properties in developing integrated media sponsorships. Vanguard clients include HSN, Yoostar, AETN and The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Owens was formerly Managing Director of Ketchum Public Relations’ global entertainment division for four years. Prior to his role at Ketchum, he served as Executive Vice President of Davie-Brown Entertainment, responsible for clients such as: Pepsi, Hershey’s, Reebok and BMW. During his tenure at Davie-Brown, Owens initiated over 50 award-winning partnerships with content providers.

Also joining NMA will be Holly Beverly as Executive Vice President to head the International Division of the company. Beverly with over 15 years experience has previously held management positions with Dreamworks and 20th Century Fox. In addition, Will Eide, formerly with the financial firm Houlihan-Lokey, has also joined NMA as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations.
