James Avery to Open New Location in Fredericksburg
KERRVILLE, Texas-(Business Wire)-September 21, 2009 - James Avery, a family-owned jewelry retailer, announces the October opening of their 53rd store in Fredericksburg, Texas. The new store will be located at 207 East Main Street, in the historic Schandua Building. The store will feature an extensive selection of typically hand-crafted designs offered in numerous metals, sizes and gemstones. James Avery on Main will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The Fredericksburg location will be the company’s second store in the Hill Country, with the company headquarters, retail store and visitor’s center located 20 miles southwest in Kerrville. Chris Avery, chief executive officer, comments: “We are excited to share our jewelry with the residents and visitors of Fredericksburg. The Texas Hill Country has been our home since the beginning over 50 years ago, so we are excited to expand into the community of Fredericksburg. Fredericksburg is also home to one of five James Avery workshops located throughout the Hill Country. Each jewelry design is originated by skilled men and women in the James Avery design studio, located in Kerrville, and then finely crafted and produced by skilled artisans predominantly in one of the Hill Country workshops.
