SEMICOA Gears Up with Increased Production and Staff
COSTA MESA, Calif.-(Business Wire)-September 21, 2009 - Semicoa Corporation is currently expanding product, staff, equipment, production capabilities and capacity to meet the growing demand of their customers for high reliability standard and customer specific products.
The focus is on broadening existing and new product offerings in the discrete semiconductor marketplace such as Transistors, Bipolar Diodes and other power related packaged products in addition to products in die form. As part of the expansion the goal is to continue to reduce cycle times by making investments in additional capacity.
Since August 2009, Semicoa has hired 30 new employees during its first stage of growth. Semicoa will add resources in advanced product technologies and engineering with further expansion planned during the upcoming quarters. Most recently Semicoa has augmented its Radiation Engineering Section by enhancing its department solely dedicated to supporting our customer needs for radiation tolerant devices aimed at space applications.
With the support of private equity firm Vance Street Capital, Semicoa has in place the significant financial backing to execute its business objectives for current and long-term growth.
