“Throw With Joe” Is A Win For Local Teen And Local Schools

Minnesota all-star closer Joe Nathan pitched with Matthew Dillner, age 15, in a private practice at Dr. Martin Luther King Park today. Dillner, a pitcher for the Lake Elmo traveling baseball team, won the chance to “Throw With Joe” as part of a Kemps Select Milk sweepstakes and invited his teammates to join him.

 
Kemps supports youth athletics and education through its Nickels For Schools program and has donated more than $4 million to local schools for equipment and supplies. The Nickels For Schools program will continue through out 2010, providing resources for schools to continue to fund critical programs like athletics, even during challenging economic times.
