dck worldwide Team Selected for Global Multiple-Award Construction Contract with the U.S. Navy
PITTSBURGH-(Business Wire)-September 18, 2009 - dck worldwide, LLC announced today that its dck/TtEC LLC joint venture team was one of four contractors awarded a global multiple-award construction (GMAC) contract with the U.S. Navy. The indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity contract has a shared ceiling value of $900 million, with one base year and four option years. The dck/TtEC LLC combines the global resources of dck worldwide with those of Tetra Tech, a leading provider of engineering and construction services.
The GMAC includes design-build and design-bid-build projects at U.S. Department of Defense installations worldwide. The work may include utilities, waterfront facilities, medical facilities, and energy and water conservation projects, among other projects. Some of the task orders may be used to execute projects under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
