International Symposium “Toward a Vaccine that Elicits Broadly Neutralizing Antibodies against HIV.” More than 70 leading HIV/AIDS vaccine researchers will gather to discuss recent scientific advances in the quest to develop an AIDS vaccine.

 

Media Briefing by two experts from the IAVI/Scripps Research team that recently discovered two new broadly neutralizing antibodies to HIV that reveal a previously unknown site on the virus that could prove a good target for vaccine design. They will discuss the implications of their work, which was published in the September 3 online edition of the journal Science, and the research road ahead.
