Finalsts Announced for CTIA Hot for the Holidays Awards

WASHINGTON-(Business Wire)-September 17, 2009 - International CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009^® today announced the finalists for the first annual CTIA Hot for the Holidays awards program, revealing this year’s must-buy mobile consumer electronics products and applications. International CTIA WIRELESS IT & E takes place October 7-8 at the San Diego Convention Center.

In addition to the seven award categories, the public can vote online at www.ctiashow.com/awards and via text for their favorite products. The entry that garners the most online votes will be named “CTIA 2009 Hottest Web Pick.” The entry that earns the most text votes during the show in San Diego will be named “CTIA 2009 Hottest in Show.”

CTIA 2009 Hot for the Holidays winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the Exhibit Innovations Stage on the show floor. All of the finalists will be prominently displayed in a special showcase at International CTIA WIRELESS IT & E. One winner will be selected from each category.
