SAN DIEGO-(Business Wire)-September 17, 2009 - Pacific Entertainment Corporation has extended its world-renowned Baby Genius® brand of musical edu-tainment for infants and toddlers to retail bookshelves through a licensing deal with publisher Meadowbrook Press.

Distributed by Simon & Schuster, Inc., the new interactive Sing ‘n Learn board books feature Baby Genius characters and celebrate the Baby Genius philosophy, “music makes a difference,” by teaching children through music and song. An audio version of each song featured in the new books can be quickly downloaded to let children and parents sing along as they enjoy discovering humorous details throughout many of the books’ wonderful illustrations.

“We’re very excited about our new line of Baby Genius sing-along board books. Simon & Schuster sales reps, chain buyers and consumers have all responded positively to the way we’ve combined the dynamic Baby Genius brand with entertaining, interactive content in book form,” said Meadowbrook Press Publisher Bruce Lansky.

The program launched in June 2009 with four books including The Wheels on the Bus; 5 Little Monkeys Jumpin’ on the Bed; Old MacDonald Had a Farm; and 1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Elephants. Four additional titles are planned for 2010. The Joester Loria Group, exclusive agent for Baby Genius, brokered the deal.
