Hexion Specialty Chemicals to Raise Prices for CARDURA™, ACE™, VEOVA™ and VERSATIC™ Acid Products
COLUMBUS, Ohio-(Business Wire)-September 15, 2009 - Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc., announced today that it will increase the prices of its CARDURA™ glycidyl ester, ACE™ hydroxyl acrylate monomer, VEOVA™ monomers and VERSATIC™ acids globally effective October 1, 2009 or as contract terms allow. This price increase is necessary due to continued and recently accelerated increases of raw material prices.
Prices for all grades of these products will increase by 150 Euro/mt or 250 USD/mt (equaling 11 cents per pound).
