Del Medical Introduces the Gemini V Series of Digital Flat Panel Upgrades
ROSELLE, Ill.-(Business Wire)-September 15, 2009 - Del Global Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:DGTC) ("Del Global" or "the Company") today announced the launch of the Gemini V Series of Digital Flat Panel Detectors (FPD) as a field upgradeable retrofit for the medical imaging industry. The Gemini V Series consists of three detector options, all utilizing the Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) technology. The Gemini 1400V is an innovative portable flat panel detector that has exactly the same dimensions of a regular 14”x17” (36x43cm) cassette, making it an immediate replacement for CR plates and conventional films. The other two detectors in the series are the Gemini 1700V and Gemini 1700V-C both are fixed 17”x17” (43x43cm) FPD and our largest detectors designed for general digital radiographic imaging. All of the Gemini V detectors come fully integrated with DelWorks acquisition software, an intuitive Windows™ based user interface that’s designed to optimize workflow. Additional features include advanced image processing, automatic setting adjustment and full DICOM 3.0 Compatibility.
