OMAHA, Neb.-(Business Wire)-September 15, 2009 - Proxibid, the world’s largest provider of live auction webcasting services, today announced that the Company will launch a newly-designed Web site on September 22. The new site reflects a well-defined brand image as well as Proxibid’s commitment to maintaining its role as the industry’s most forward-thinking provider.

Proxibid’s new Web site design will feature enhanced navigation and a much cleaner, faster-loading homepage. The new homepage will boast enhanced navigation to simplify the user experience. Category-specific landing pages will allow bidders to go directly to the content in which they are most interested, providing the most targeted online bidding environment available. The site will also be more scalable, enabling Proxibid to stay ahead of the curve as online auctions continue to grow in popularity.

“In 2008, Proxibid had approximately 1,188,215 lots pass through our system,” said Joe Petsick, Proxibid’s Chief Financial Officer and co-founder. “We expect this figure to more than double in 2009. Our new Web site was designed with this type of growth in mind, and we look forward to serving our expanding community of bidders and auctioneers.”

While the core functionality of the Web site will remain the same, bidders will notice some new features and benefits. When the newly-designed site launches, Proxibid’s multi-bid mode will become the default bidding mode, enabling bidders to place multiple pre-bids at one time. Bidders will also be able to bid on multiple lots at once during online only, timed auctions.

“The new design and re-branding efforts are a direct reflection of where we believe the online auction industry is headed,” said Bruce Hoberman, Proxibid’s CEO. “With so much noise in the marketplace, now more than ever it is critical to provide bidders with easy access to the content they are looking for. We have created an online environment where bidders can quickly locate exactly what they want and easily place pre-bids for multiple items at the same time.”

Proxibid provides bidders with more content than any other online auction provider. The Company’s leading-edge technology and superior customer support make it the best value in the industry.
